Our first wedding of 2023!

Cristina & Andy's wedding took place at the beautiful Old Palace Chester. It's a stunning, exclusive use venue in the heart of Chester. In the morning, we woke up to a lot of snow, luckily it all melted by the time of the ceremony allowing for a dry walk to and from the church.

The bride and groom got ready separately - Cristina at the venue's getting ready room with her bridesmaids + family and Andy at a nearby hotel with his brother.

The ceremony took place at a local church, which was absolutely beautiful. The light was shining through their big windows creating a magical atmosphere and the vicar made sure everyone was involved in the mass.

Afterwards we captured some family photos at the venue and after grabbing a drink and an ice cream from the ice cream cart(!!! how cool is that!?) we took a stroll through surrounding streets and gardens to grab some portraits. It was freezing so the bride did amazing walking around in her dress!

They had organised a fantastic creche for all the children - and there was a lot of them! - which worked wonders in keeping all the kiddos occupied and happy! It's a great idea for anyone with a number of children coming to their wedding.

In the evening everyone was wowed by wood fired pizzas in the venue's own massive pizza oven. After dancing our little hearts out the band (and capturing lots of great dance moves) it was time for us to depart!

Overall - what a great way to kick off our wedding year! x
