HERE TO HELP MAKE YOUR DREAM A REALITY...

eLOPEMENT PHOTOGRAPHER

I specialise in the Scottish Highlands but also work in the Lake District, Snowdonia and beyond. I have photographed weddings and elopements abroad (cue me on the left looking like a michellin man) - I'm so excited to get to know you!

Elopements are extremely personal and intimate celebrations of love. There's basically no limitations as to what you can do on your day  so dream as big or as little as you want! As much or as little fuss as you like. The most important thing is that it's done *just* the way you want it. I'll be there to capture all the magic.

Rolling green mountains and valleys stretch into the distance under a cloudy sky.

Planning an elopement in the highlands? not sure where to start?

Planning an elopement from thousands of miles away or even just a few hundred should never feel like a logistical burden. The Scottish Highlands are as unpredictable as they are beautiful. In a landscape where the weather shifts in minutes and the best locations are often hidden from the maps, you don't just need a photographer; you need a strategist. I provide a single, all-encompassing experience. I don't offer "half-days" or tiered packages because I’ve found that a rushed session here rarely does justice to the story you’re trying to tell.

Instead, I dedicate my full energy, my time, and my boots-on-the-ground research to ensuring your day is effortless.

My work begins before you even arrive. I travel at least the day before your elopement for a dedicated scouting session. I check the trail conditions, map the light for your specific ceremony time, and ensure our path is clear. When we meet on

the morning of your wedding, I am not just showing up with a camera I am leading you to locations I have personally vetted for you 24 hours prior.

You gain direct access to my vetted network of Highland specialists. From celebrants who are happy to hike into a remote glen to florists and personal chefs who understand the logistics of the North, I provide the local connections you need so you aren’t starting from zero. I provide the map and the expertise; you remain the decision-maker.

I provide 8-10 hours of dedicated coverage. This isn't about forced posing for ten hours; it’s about the freedom to move at your own pace. We have the buffer to wait out a rain cloud, the time to drive to a second secluded loch, and the space to capture the quiet moments from your morning coffee to the blue hour at dusk.

To keep your planning as simple as possible, all of my travel and accommodation logistics are included in my fee. There are no hidden travel costs or extra hotel bills for you to manage. I handle my own journey so that I am simply there, ready and immersed in the landscape, the moment you need me.

"Planning from overseas felt overwhelming until we found Magda. She guided us through everything - locations, timelines, travel, all of it. Our day was calm, beautiful and better than we imagined, and the photos look like scenes from a film. We’re so glad we booked her"

FAQ's

How long does it take to recieve the photos/video after the elopement?

The maximum I ask for is 12 weeks of patience in order for me to deliver your photos + videos. Don't worry, within 5 days of your special day I will send you a preview with a small selection of images to keep you going while you wait for your full, gallery of magic.

We want to include our dog into the elopement ceremony and photos, is that okay?

Absolutely yes, don't even need to ask.

We have no idea where to do it!

Of course, I'm here all the way for you to guided you through the process and provide some location ideas. Once we start working together we can brainstorms and see what you like as a couple narrowing down the perfect spot and/or activities.

Can I still have an hmua / florist / cake maker?

Absolutely. Your day, your way, all the way.

Do we need a registrar for our wild elopement? If yes, can you recommend one?

It's absolutely up to you! You can have a celebration of just the two of you exchanging personal vows, use a celebrant or organise a registrar to come out and marry you! It also depends on the location of where you'd like to do it but get in touch and I will be happy to help.

How far in advance do we need to book?

Normally I will book elopements up to 12 months in advance however most commonly couples book me 3 - 6 months ahead.
If you're hoping to do it sooner - as in couple of weeks - we can make it happen!
Luckily as I'm very experienced in this I can help organise your dream elopement in a matter of days.
Reach out to see what's possible!

How about guests? We want our closest people there...

No problemo - I'm happy to accommodate up to 10(ish) guests - let's discuss your requirements/dreams in our intro call!

Do you photograph city elopements or registry weddings?

Absolutely! Elopements aren’t only mountains and forests. Many couples choose city registry offices and urban portraits. I love capturing both wild landscapes and vibrant city streets. If you're looking for a city celebration please take a look at my wedding coverage pricing!
